Why a crypto-based, decentralized yield-bearing stablecoin like $fxSAVE will become existentially important to the global financial system:
1. The world is currently engaged in a globally synchronized recession. Because of this, all governments and central banks are scrambling to stimulate their economies.
2. To stimulate economies, all central banks are in the process of engaging in an interest rate cutting cycle. Because of this, all of the overnight funding rates for repo operations are collapsing back to a much smaller interest rate.
3. The largest centralized stablecoins, $USDC and $USDT, are nearly entirely dependent upon short dated US treasury notes/bills and repo operations to supply yield for their business operations. As the Fed cuts interest rates, their businesses suffer.
4. In order for @circle and @Tether_to to continue their business operations as needed, they will be forced to move out on the risk curve to obtain a USD-based interest rate that can sustain their businesses.
5. As yield-bearing stablecoins that are crypto based serve almost the exact same use case as US treasury notes/bills, @circle and @Tether_to will almost certainly start to integrate robust, crypto-based yield bearing stablecoins as backing collateral for $USDC and $USDT.
6. The most decentralized, most robust, and best organic, real-yield stablecoins stand to become global collateral for every financial institution as we enter this rate cutting cycle.
