Hello Kyle, how are you doing today? Hey, all maxi good, last months appeared kinda life changing. writings, networks, interviews, collabs and so on in a tight workload. How did you get into Crypto? In 2022, my best friend came with words about magic internet money. Soon I discovered whitelists, nfts, testnets and so on. ofc it wasn't successful, I continued with farming airdrops, running my first media, first attempts being an ambassador. just average web3 newbie, I was searching my edge and first bankroll. by the end of 2024 my infospace started filling with X creators, then I joined them too. When and How did you stumble upon Prediction Markets? ~9 months ago, I noticed we have no exact narrative or meta in web3 space, what is not usual for space I live in, So I guessed something huge is coming and I need to be prepared to jump on this train of hype. Only 2 things seemed interesting for me: Perpdexs and Prediction Markets. The second niche appeared much more interesting, thanks my network and my own efforts I started digging deep into docs, history and micros about prediction markets. The only project which is really deserved my attention was Polymarket and my first prediction was on eth price, I lost lmeow How’d you describe Prediction Markets to anyone who’s just hearing about it? From this moment - we are out of need of traditional news, traditional googling. Just open Polymarket, watch the odds, and let them tell the truth. The community tells you the answers for each world global event. in the last month polymarket accuracy was like 94-97% and this is huge. What single biggest advantage do Prediction Markets bring to the average person? Prediction markets gives you the possibility to watch what do people all around the world think. You don't have to listen to any government source, you collect the real community statement rates. What markets narratives do you actively trade or prefer to trade? I prefer (Geo)politics, Crypto, some world culture markets and so on, the this list in non-stable really All the markets I am able to research, collect info about, and translate my edge/conviction to audience is suitable. The crowd may misvalue the odds and markets need analysts, I hope to be one of them. What’s your base thought process to approaching these trades? I'm not looking for rapid results of my trades, I had enough bad experience of hurrying at meme szn. At first I need to acknowledge with the market rules, sources that may help me build my conviction and so on. Also I have a community to talk with about trades, so by collecting opinions from different people - I may be sure about my own. Can you give an overview on what tools you use, what metrics you like to look at and what conditions prompt you into entering a trade? Oh that's a type of question I may speak unlimited about, but let's try to be short. If I need to analyze the market - I open several public sources, It may be official ones like CNN or smth If I need to analyze trader - I use @poly_data. There's a plenty of tools that may help in each exact situation. show indicators, indexes, interesting wallets. I can figure out @pizzintwatch, @polysights, @betmoardotfun. I even dropped an article including ~100 tools some weeks ago. What are some of your worst losses and how did that impact how you trade? To be honest I haven't had any big loses on Polymarket, thanks to my risk management haha. But anyway, unsuccessful trades happen on daily, as well as successful. I'm trading the amount I'm not afraid to loose. that's it. What single biggest problem do you think Prediction Markets have atm? Problems? I don't feel any by myself. Lack of liquidity? well, polymarket is still only coming to its supercycle, so I guess the lack of liquidity will be solved as soon as more people will join us. Oracle dispute resolution? UMA doing good, some markets that are required for more resolution context has it. Comments under markets? yes, a number of speculations and scams happened recently. How’d you reckon current problems then be solved? I wish to find some developers to make a 'Trader's trust counter' as a Polymarket eco tool. But also I guess the team will implement some measures to make replies under markets safer asap. On the flip side, what’s an underexplored/underrated concept within Prediction Markets? Prediction markets might be implemented to almost each system which includes community, social networks, information sources and so on. A lot to discover ahead, the concept makes it possible to make almost everything you could ever think about. Masses still undervaluing the influence of prediction markets to the whole world. for example PMs might occur as a measure for replacing traditional voting. Where do you see the overall Prediction Market ecosystem in say, 12 months from now? Prediction markets just started, hype around the concept gains all time highs every month. Within a year, I expect the prediction markets to be integrated into daily routine of every person with internet access. The concept and potential is unbelievably huge, I'm glad to be here as an early bird (I hope I am). Every month more users and big players are joining, we’re still just at the beginning. What accounts would you recommend people follow to get familiar with Prediction Markets in general? I am a part of most powerful polymarket community right now - @zscdao. We are covering stable >80% of mindshare by Cookie and ~20% by Kaito in total, I think each member deserves his own piece of attention, as well as public high-pnl traders.
